They found oil.
They found disease.
They found hunger
misery, poverty
and in a hellish nightmare
are now trapped.
 

Toxics in the soil,

in  the rivers

and the air
Dead trees.
Dead fish.                                                                                                                                                                                Death hopes

All life was banished from the land
